چکیده

Growing attention on carcinogenicity and mutagenicity of antineoplastic drugs (ADs) from the International Agencies has led to present strict safe handling administration regulations. Accordingly, one most common ways assess occupational exposure these substances is identify quantify possible surface contamination inside hospital preparation units. Thus, it essential develop a fast high-throughput monitoring method capable identifying significant number ADs. The study reports developing UHPLC–MS/MS analysis screen 26 ADs through wipe test sampling. A Cortecs UPLC T3 50 × 2.1 mm (1.6 µm) column was selected perform analysis, using evaluations previous studies Product Quality Research Institute (PQRI) database. design experiments (DoE) methodological approach used optimize chromatographic conditions concerning best separation between all limits quantification for analytes were pg/mL ng/mL orders, turnaround time limited about 15 min. obtained accuracy mostly 90% 110% analytes, while precision under 10% low matrix effect observed said analytes. Only vindesine docetaxel presented lower performances.

QSRR models of veterinary drugs in milk in ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled to time of flight mass spectrometry

The veterinary drugs residues are also important pollutants found in milk, since veterinary drugs are commonly used in cattle management. Considering the role of milk in human nutrition and its wide consumption throughout the world, it is very important to ensure the milk quality. A quantitative structure–retention relationship (QSRR) was developed using the partial least square (PLS), Kernel P...

High-throughput method development approaches for bioanalytical mass spectrometry.

A rational approach to the development and optimization of solid-phase extraction (SPE) methods is described. The semiautomated scheme allows for the simultaneous testing of multiple chemistries using a custom multiple-sorbent 96-well method development plate. Optimized extraction conditions for up to five analytes are determined in a single 2.5-h experiment. The experiment can be tailored to d...

Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography and High Resolution Mass Spectrometry for the Analysis of Plant Lipids

Holistic analysis of lipids is becoming increasingly popular in the life sciences. Recently, several interesting, mass spectrometry-based studies have been conducted, especially in plant biology. However, while great advancements have been made we are still far from detecting all the lipids species in an organism. In this study we developed an ultra performance liquid chromatography-based metho...

High-throughput affinity mass spectrometry.

Affinity mass spectrometry (AMS) is a proteomics approach for selectively isolating target protein(s) from complex biological fluids for mass spectrometric analysis. The resulting high-content mass spectrometry (MS) data show the unique MS protein signatures (wild-type, posttranslationally modified, as well as genetically modified forms of the protein target) that are present within a biologica...
